The Passing of Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs meant more to me than I can explain in a few words. I replaced the front page on my website with a simple Thank You Steve Jobs and an image of a Macintosh Apple that I happened to have on hand. I may write more about my personal history with Apple Computers. I am not sure it would be a good fit for Fromoutoftheblue.com website. Thank You Steve Jobs.

Soul Touching Stories

One of the recent additions to the website is a long post about Brother Blue who was an extraordinary storyteller in Cambridge MA. His stories are part of me. The stories he told, the original first ones I heard on the radio, showed me a way to see the angelic nature in everyone. Read the article here: Brother Blue - Storyteller.

Perfect Health

I wrote a short article about how I got involved in healing work. I think people thought this was going to be a prescription or routine or method in achieving perfect health. It isn't that. But there is a turning point in the article that indicates where the choice was made for health instead of pain. Should I write a follow up article to this one? Read it here: Perfect Health.

New ACIM Speaks Podcast

There is now a new ACIM Speaks podcast episode. I "digitally remastered" the Epilogue and Introduction from the first two episodes released in 2009 for this episode. Listen or download it here: ACIM Speaks episode 107.

Who Would We Be Without Stories?

The article about Brother Blue was written, in part, in response to my thinking about the question that I mentioned in this newsletter before: Who would you be without your story? The Brother Blue article is now effectively a preface to another article I am writing about answering that question. How do you respond to the question? Have you had any experience with "The Work"? If you have anything you would like to share about it, I would appreciate hearing what you have to say. Reply to this email or use the Feedback page on the website and you can remain anonymous there if you like.

A Course in Miracles

I was talking recently with a  friend from way back. We started talking about spiritual pursuits. He had heard about A Course in Miracles and he thought that it came from Unity Village in Missouri. That is where I met Louise Hay, but that's another story. The idea that there are people who do not know the origin of A Course in Miracles at this time in history really surprised me. I began to think of it humorously -- maybe there are people who think that Mel Gibson wrote the New Testament and Charlton Heston wrote the Old Testament. It gave me serious pause too -- that there is value in the work I am doing. One thing I will be doing is re-posting the earlier podcast episodes where I go into quite a lot of detail about the beginning of A Course in Miracles and how it started.

I will also get back to creating some new podcasts for ACIM Speaks.  You can also leave a voice message now if you have any questions or topics you would like to hear covered in the podcast. The number is listed here: ACIM Speaks Podcast.
Say it is for ACIM Speaks and indicate whether or not you would like me to include the message in the podcast.
